Upgrading your equipment

Depending on your acquirer, your new terminal or PIN pad will either be delivered to you by an engineer, appointed by your acquirer, or sent directly to you by courier or post.

• If your new equipment is sent to you directly, detailed instructions will be provided to help you install it.
• If an engineer, appointed by your acquirer, delivers the equipment it is likely they will install it and provide some user training.

Once your new equipment is installed, you will be able to ask customers, who have chip and PIN cards, to use their PIN instead of signing.
